Mitch Mitchell was found dead at 3am on Wednesday the 12th of November in his Portland hotel room. Multnomah County medical examiner said he died of natural causes.

Mitch was the last surviving member of the 1960's group the Jimi Hendrix Experience. He was in Portland drumming for the Experience Hendrix Tour and was considerd one of rocks greatest drummers.

Jimi Hendrix died in 1970.

Bass player Noel Redding died in 2003.
